Sessions
Today marks the first full day of the workshop sessions. The first round starts at 8:45 at the Ali Center.Today’s keynotes are You Forgot It In Print by Michael Renaud of Pitchfork at 9:50 and Your Friend in Digital Media: How ‘The Onion’ Is Not That at 1:40, both in View Point Hall. If you haven’t picked up your registration yet, you can do that at the Ali Center for most of the day. Today will also bring the start of Hacktucky.
SNDF Lebowski Night
The big event this evening is the SNDF annual fundraiser. This year’s theme is “Lebowski Night” in honor of the film and Lebowski Fest, which is a huge event founded in Louisville. For $30, you’ll get free drinks and bowling at The Sports & Social Club from 9-11 p.m. The money raised helps to fund many of the educational experiences that SND members benefit from.
Muhammad Ali Center
The Ali Center is across the lawn from the west side of the Galt House Hotel. If you go to the second floor of the west tower at the Galt, find the double doors on the south end of the lobby to find the quickest route to the Ali Center.
